                 FIACS- Flanders Interaction Analysis Category System   Flander’s interaction analysis category system (NED.S. FLANDER)            The Flander’s system is an observational tool used to classify the verbal behavior of teachers and pupils as they interact in the classroom. Flander’s instrument was designed for observing only the verbal communication in the class room and non –verbal gestures are not taken into account. The basic assumption of the system is that in the classroom the verbal statement of a teacher are consistent with his non-verbal gestures or with his total behavior. Ned.
